Born in 2018 as Jessie’s Trinket Trove, my journey began with a passion for metalsmithing and a love for creating meaningful jewelry by hand. Inspired by my Peranakan Baba and Nyonya heritage, I discovered that working with silver and gemstones allowed me to honor cultural traditions while expressing modern artistry.
In the early days, my designs were playful and experimental—colorful trinkets crafted from silver, copper, leather, wood, and gemstones. Each piece was a step in discovering my creative voice, shaping the foundation of what has now grown into JK Gems.
After seven years of learning, evolving, and refining my craft, it felt natural to embrace a new chapter. JK Gems is the evolution of Jessie’s Trinket Trove—an identity that carries forward the same heart of handcrafted artistry, but with a sharper focus on timeless elegance, gemstone-driven designs, and fine craftsmanship in 925 silver.
